dc.description.abstractObjetivo: describir el comportamiento de la oxigenación cerebral medida por espectroscopia cercana al infrarrojo durante la hipotensión arterial secundaria a inducción anestésica intravenosa, y su posterior corrección con etilefrina. Materiales y métodos: Método: estudio observacional, descriptivo, prospectivo. 53 pacientes sometidos cirugía electiva . Clínica san marcel. Manizales. Colombia. Entre abril y septiembre de 2023 Resultados: 66% mujeres y 34% hombres con promedio de edad de 44 años clasificación ASA 1 (66%) y ASA 2(34%). Se presentaron cambios en la oxigenación cerebral entre la medida basal y la pre oxigenación 65 (RIC 58-71) VS 72 (RIC 67-78) p0.021; la pre oxigenación y la hipotensión durante la inducción 72(RIC67-78) vs 78 (RIC 72-83) p0.032; la hipotensión y posterior a la aplicación de etilefrina 78(RIC72-83) vs 74 (RIC 67-80) p0,016. Al comparar los valores durante la pre oxigenación y posterior a la corrección de la hipotensión se encontraron diferencias significativas 72 RIC (67-78) vs 74 RIC (67-80) p0,036. Conclusiones: Durante la inducción anestésica hay cambios de la oxigenación cerebral, la Etilefrina parece tener un comportamiento favorable con respecto a la oxigenación cerebral en contraste con otros medicamentos.spa

Materials and methods: Method: observational, descriptive, prospective study. 53 patients underwent elective surgery. San Marcel Clinic. Manizales. Colombia. There were changes in cerebral oxygenation between the baseline measurement and pre-oxygenation 65 (IQR 58-71) VS 72 (IQR 67-78) p0.021; preoxygenation and hypotension during induction 72 (IQR67-78) vs 78 (IQR 72-83) p0.032; hypotension and after the application of etilefrine 78 (IQR72-83) vs 74 (IQR 67-80) p0.016. When comparing the values during pre-oxygenation and after correction of hypotension, significant differences were found 72 IQR (67-78) vs 74 IQR (67-80) p0.036. Conclusions: During anesthetic induction there are changes in cerebral oxygenation, Etilefrine seems to have a favorable behavior with respect to cerebral oxygenation in contrast to other medications.eng
