Objetivo. Este artículo tiene como objetivo develar el papel preponderante que tienen los maestros de las escuelas rurales del municipio de Aguadas, Caldas, como agentes de los procesos de postconflicto, especialmente en su papel como autoridades educativas y socioculturales en las escuelas y comunidades en las que llevan a cabo su ejercicio profesional. Las aportaciones teóricas desde posturas posestructuralistas constituyeron el eje central para el desarrollo de las categorías fundantes, capacidad de agencia y resistencias territoriales. Para el análisis de la situación, se acudió al trabajo de campo etnográfico y a la revisión de fuentes bibliográficas tanto locales como regionales. Metodología. Correspondió a un enfoque cualitativo que permitió entre otros, los siguientes resultados: Descripción y explicación de las relaciones y dinámicas territoriales que los maestros del municipio, han tenido que reconfigurar y negociar en medio del conflicto armado. Conclusiones. Se evidencia que la capacidad de agencia de estos maestros tiene que ver con la pertenencia, la apropiación y la resistencia territorial, vistas a través de las implicaciones que tienen para los maestros mantener abiertas las escuelas, permanecer en medio del conflicto armado y realizar trabajo mancomunado con los padres de familia y con la comunidad. Objective. This article aims to reveal the importance of teachers in rural schools in the Municipality of Aguadas, Caldas, as agents for post-conflict processes, especially in their role as educational and sociocultural authorities in the schools and communities in which they carry out their professional practice. Theoretical contributions from post-structuralist positions constituted the central axis for the development of the founding categories, For the analysis, ethnographic field work and the review of both local and regional secondary sources are used, and the relationships and territorial dynamics that these teachers have had to reconfigure and negotiate in the middle of the armed conflict in the municipality of Aguadas (Caldas) are described and explained. It is evident that the agency capacity of these teachers has to do with belonging, appropriation and territorial resistance seen through the implications that teachers have for keeping schools open, staying in the midst of the armed conflict and carrying out joint work with parents and with the community.
