In this paper I will try to offer, reasons against Jackendoff's argument in which it is intended to identify conceptual and semantic representations. I will maintain that this argument is incorrect because it does not take into account the neuropsychological and psychiatric evidence against it. To do this, I will philosophically clarify what both types of representations consist of, and then, I will argue against the thesis of identification.eng
