Ezequiel Martínez Estrada (1895-1964) es un relevante escritor argentino, más reconocido por su producción ensayística y poética, sin embargo tiene una importante dramaturgia. En el presente artículo se analizan las relaciones entre su ensayística y su teatro; las relaciones de su dramaturgia con las estructuras del drama moderno (previa caracterización de esta poética de fuerte productividad en la historia del teatro occidental); finalmente, se estudia su obra Lo que no vemos morir en su vínculo con la poética del drama moderno en versión ampliada desde una teoría de la Poética Comparada. Ezequiel Martínez Estrada (1895-1964) is a relevant Argentine writer, most recognized for his essay and poetic production, however he has an important dramaturgy. In the present article the relationships between his essay and his theater are analyzed; the relations of his dramaturgy with the structures of modern drama (previous characterization of this poetics of strong productivity in the history of Western theater); finally, his play Lo que no vemos morir is studied in its link with the poetics of modern drama in an enlarged version from a theory of Comparative Poetics.
