Sistemática de la familia Curculionidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) de la colección L.E.U.C. en la zona Cafetera Central De Colombia

spa:La familia Curculionidae está compuesta por 19 subfamilias de las cuales se registran 16 para Colombia, destacándose dentro del orden Coleoptera por agrupar un gran número de especies plaga en diferentes cultivos destacando: palma, café, musáceas (banano y plátano), aguacate y granos almacenados como maíz, frijol, sorgo y arroz. En este documento se tomó como referente la familia curculionidae representada en la Zona Cafetera Central Colombiana. El objetivo fue estudiar la diversidad de los individuos de la familia Curculionidae de la colección del Laboratorio de Entomología de la Universidad de Caldas (L.E.U.C). Del total almacenado, se identificaron cinco subfamilias (Baridinae, Curculioninae, Dryophthorinae, Entiminae y Molytinae) y en total 38 especies. En este documento se reconoce la importancia de realizar muestreos sistemáticos de este grupo y la necesidad de adelantar estudios para mejorar el conocimiento del grupo, en especial, su distribución, hábitos alimenticios, biología y hospederos. eng:The Curculionidae family is made up of 19 subfamilies, of which 16 are recorded for

reference. The objective was to study the diversity of individuals of the Curculionidae
family in the collection of the Entomology Laboratory of the University of Caldas (L.E.U.C).
Of the total stored, five subfamilies (Baridinae, Curculioninae, Dryophthorinae, Entiminae
and Molytinae) and a total of xx species were identified. This document recognizes the
importance of carrying out systematic sampling of this group and the need to carry out
studies to improve knowledge of the group, especially its distribution, eating habits, biology
and hosts.
